Responsibilities

Participate in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, which includes manual accounting entries and account reconciliations.

Participate in the preparation of mortgage loan related financial results, including footnote disclosures for both GAAP and Statutory reporting.

Assist with the daily processing of accounting controls functions and reporting of monthly results of control processes.

Participate in the preparation of mortgage loan related financial results data requests as needed.

Actively work to streamline and improve processes and provide support for projects as needed.

Required

BS/BA in Accounting (or applicable business degree)

Knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with financial statements, including balance sheet and income statements

Strong MS Excel, Word, Outlook skills

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Strong organizational and research skills

Ability to work autonomously

Proactive in identifying and resolving issues

Preferred

Accounting experience (in a supporting or lead role)

Experience with investments accounting

Familiarity with Alteryx, PAM, and PeopleSoft Ledger
