Responsibilities

Work with the Director of Communications to plan, develop, and execute strategic communication campaigns targeting customers, industry partners, and media.

Ensure alignment of messaging across all external communication platforms including press releases, interviews, articles, and presentations.

Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and leadership to write and promote thought leadership content (articles, blogs, case studies, presentations, etc.) that position the company as an industry leader.

Support communications around industry events, webinars, trade shows, and sponsorships, including, but not limited to, speeches, presentations, and talking points for leadership or SMEs at external engagements.

Ensure all content aligns with corporate messaging and resonates with target B2B audiences.

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry journalists, analysts, and media outlets.

Identify and secure media opportunities such as interviews, features, and op-eds that enhance the company's visibility.

Draft and distribute press releases, company statements, and other media materials.

Assist in managing crisis communication plans and responses, including timely response to emerging issues that could impact the company's reputation.

Work closely with legal, HR, and other relevant leaders to ensure the proper handling of sensitive issues by ensuring the coordination of accurate and timely information.

Provides media training for company leadership and SMEs.

Can serve as company spokesperson, as needed.

Monitor and report on the performance of external communications campaigns.

Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and brand perception.
