Responsibilities

Conduct property condition assessments (PCAs)
Provide estimations of probable costs
Peer review building designs
Perform energy audits, system commissioning, forensic evaluations, construction management, and design and evaluations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Interact with site personnel and clients
Engage in a diverse array of projects offering unique challenges and opportunities to make a tangible impact
Travel to project sites is required

Required

BSME, BSEE or BSAE w/mechanical or electrical specialty
PE
At least 10 years' experience in the engineering design and evaluation of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Demonstrated leadership and project management successes
HVAC and plumbing system expertise
Fundamental knowledge of electrical and fire protection systems
Working knowledge of national and state building codes
Experience in facilities engineering, energy audits, commissioning, and sustainability consulting
Ability to integrate passion for Sustainability with legal requirements
Professional communication skills
Organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and Box
Eager to collaborate across disciplines
Committed to lifelong learning in MEP engineering

LEED or CEM certificates
