Responsibilities
Compiles selling reports and completes business analysis on a weekly basis to identify risks/opportunities based on current trend and competitive landscape, as well as ad-hoc for specific projects.
Partners with Senior Merchant to build seasonal assortment with alignment to category financial and strategic plans.
Provides all necessary information to the web team for PDP creation; requests samples for photography, compiles product details for copy, and communicates digital merchandising strategy.
Assists in managing assortment selection, communication, and product information with outside vendors.
Strives to maintain a cohesive team environment that promotes high morale, performance standards, and attainment of goals.
Surveys the competitive landscape, with developing ability to identify market trends.
Exemplify a culture of partnership, communication, and collaboration with cross functional teams.
Adhere to seasonal product creation and commercialization calendar dates and deliverables.
Demonstrate nimbleness in role with the ever-evolving retail industry
Develop and populate robust reporting templates for regular reporting intervals (weekly reporting, post-season hindsight, pre-season assortment planning, etc.)
Support Merchants in pulling ad hoc reports, as needed
Support Merchant change management processing & publication to Planning team, as needed

Required
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related business field such as Fashion Design and Merchandising.
3+ years of experience in a retail environment, specifically focused on merchandising.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Comfort working in multiple data entry systems.
Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-up; Self-Starter
Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; proven flexibility, agility, and comfort with change.
Proven experience managing projects while building partnerships and cooperation across multiple departments.
Passionate about product with a strong appreciation for design.
Results oriented with strong business and financial acumen; ability to understand the importance of data and look for ways to harness its powers in day-to-day decision making.
Objective problem-solver with an analytical approach that understands and anticipates needs of customer, business, & team.
Competent, reliable, & efficient, with effective communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Accessories merchandising experience a plus.
Familiarity with Smartsheet and/or Adobe Analytics a plus.
