Responsibilities

Creating specialized media formulation and maintaining an inventory of stem cell reagents and stock chemicals

Preparing specialized culturing surfaces and maintaining a well-organized inventory of cell lines stored in liquid nitrogen

Will work under the direct supervision of the lab director and post-docs

Performs other related duties.

Required

Bachelors degree in science or related field preferred, or combination of relevant research experience and education.

A recent graduate with demonstrated experience in any of the following fields: cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, and developmental/stem cell biology, bioengineering.

0-2 years of research/laboratory experience.

Preferred

Experience in the following research areas: iPSC cell culture and differentiation; molecular and cell biology; CRISPR, bioengineering, confocal microscopy; calcium imaging and optogenetics; mouse models; computational biology, single cell/nuclei RNAseq.
