Responsibilities
Perform in vitro cell cultures of glomerular endothelial cells and test whether overexpression or knockdown of CH25h, ASAP1, and ARF4 affects Golgi function in endothelial cells.
We have generated transgenic mouse models with overexpression or knockdown of Ch25h, ASAP1, and ARF4 in endothelial cells. We will test whether these mice develop more or less kidney injury.
Techniques include cell culture, western blot, qPCR, RNA-sequencing, genotyping of mice, mouse breading, kidney histology analysis, immunostaining, determination of urine albumin and renal function.

Required
Bachelors or Masters degree in science or related field required
1 - 2 years of research/laboratory experience
Candidate should have basic training in medical research
Basic Bench Work and Animal Studies experience required
