Responsibilities

Drive development for new beverages and systems against the innovation pipeline

Collaborate with external partners to drive technical research

Generate rapid prototypes and conduct testing for physical, analytical, and sensorial attributes

Develop experimental plans with appliance, packaging, and manufacturing teams

Create and manage timelines, action plans, reports, and presentations

Educate cross-functional partners on technical and scientific principles

Represent beverage technical considerations in appliance, package, and manufacturing initiatives

Participate in innovation brainstorm sessions and analyze current trends

Foster a culture of trust and wellbeing within the team

Establish clear goals and accountability, supported by regular conversations

Embrace diverse perspectives to foster innovation

Ensure team members are motivated, heard, and aligned with expectations

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or engineering discipline; Beverage experience, coffee and/or powder experience a bonus

2+ years of professional experience; Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred

Proficiency in understanding sensory and consumer sciences, consumer insights, as well as Good Lab and Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety Regulatory Standards

Adequate business orientation; ability to ask relevant questions, understand business case and consumer proposition

Strong team player; experience in bringing teams/individuals together to deliver projects; strong thought and executional leadership
