Responsibilities
Support the delivery of long-term research projects in line with business and consumer needs.
Plan and execute projects from hypothesis through experimental work to result interpretation, write recommendations, and disseminate reports.
Develop and execute projects with the support and guidance of a manager, effectively communicating statuses, and highlighting risks and issues.
Plan and lead bench-top experimental work plans and trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice.
Conduct research activities including literature reviews, analytical, and independently plan, lead, and coordinate project-related activities.
Maintain experimental workspaces and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and quality policies, maintain quality standards system, safety, and standard operating procedures in accordance with good manufacturing process and HACCP, and implement corrective measures when necessary.

Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field
Working as part of a project team to support the delivery of long-term research projects
Planning and executing projects from hypothesis through experimental work to result interpretation
Developing and executing projects with effective communication of statuses, risks, and issues
Planning and leading bench-top experimental work plans and trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice
Planning and conducting research activities including literature reviews and analytical work
Independently planning, leading, and coordinating project-related activities
Maintaining experimental workspaces and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety and quality policies
Maintaining quality standards system, safety, and standard operating procedures in accordance with good manufacturing process and HACCP
Implementing corrective measures when necessary
Using the scientific method to design and carry out basic experiments with some self-sufficiency
Comparing results from multiple streams
Product development or developing technology
Completing all pieces to create new technology or ingredient
Enabling technology development, especially new ingredients
Having a developer mindset
Ability to perform and design experiments
Describing where design experience was executed
Preferred
2 years of analytical analysis experience
