Responsibilities
Lead and direct the Audit Team, with accountability for planning, alignment, execution, reporting and follow-up of audit engagements.
Oversee and sign off on AICPA and PCAOB audits
Ensure the provision of a high-quality client service experience for audit clients whilst ensuring adherence to individual job budgets and maximum fee recovery.
Oversee Peer Review and PCAOB inspections
Oversee and assist with implementation of Quality Controls
Proactively lead and support strategic initiatives that enhance overall audit effectiveness.
Work constructively with other functions or departments.
Effectively manage performance issues that affect the work and/or the team.
Provide constructive, actionable feedback and coaching.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
At least 10+ years relevant audit work experience including 5+ years managing audit teams.
Active Attest CPA license.
Experience in PCAOB and AICPA audits.
Experience in implementing and managing overall firm quality control in accordance with AICPA’s & PCAOB’s QC standards.
Experience in managing and responding to PCAOB inspections.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with presentation skills. Including an excellent command of the English language.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff.
Ability to work with all levels of staff and Management.
Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload expectations.
Focus on quality and service.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Additional certifications in CFE, CRMA and similar audit-related accreditations, a plus.
Experience in governmental, non-profit, employee benefit audits plus but not a requirement.
Experience gained in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier auditing firm would be advantageous.
