Automated Test Engineer II

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation scripts and frameworks using relevant programming languages and tools.
Ensure application quality, deployment integrity, and configuration through the creation of integration, and end-to-end automated test suites.
Collaborate closely with developers, SQA, and business analysts to design and implement effective testing strategies.
Maintain fluency in emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Participate in evaluation and adoption of tools and frameworks that make automation possible.
Collaborate with the development team to develop test cases and scripts.
Develop and maintain documentation related to test automation processes, procedures, and policies.
Facilitate automated performance and load testing.
Design, develop and conduct automated shift-right/post-production environment testing.
Work with the development team to design, develop and conduct automated post-production compliance and security testing.
Collaborate across the organization to understand how automation can improve processes and identify areas of improvement.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Over 2+ years of proven experience in software test automation.
Strong programming and batch script skills.
Linux and AIX experience
Strong grasp of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices
API Testing experienced: functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
Experience with automated testing tools.
Knowledge of: o CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar). o AIX, RHEL Db2, Tomcat, Jasper Reports o OpenSSL, OpenSSH o Familiarity with C++, Java, Python, and Bash o Knowledge of IT security and compliance best practices and standards o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
