Responsibilities

Design and implement automation solutions for various processes, including software testing, infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and more.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.

Create and optimize automated test scripts for functional, regression, and load testing in CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations teams to design and deploy automation tools that improve operational efficiency.

Work with tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar to automate workflows.

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.

Assist with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline development and management.

Ensure automation solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with internal policies and industry standards.

Stay up to date with new automation tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience as an Automation Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.

Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, or Perl.

Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

Solid understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Experience cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their automation capabilities.

Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance considerations in automation.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
