Responsibilities

Create and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions for a manufacturing environment

Identify and specify required equipment and subsystems to improve on new and existing manufacturing processes

Devise specification and in-depth documentation for the design of automation system and subsystems

Provide technical support to production and maintenance in troubleshooting and maintaining automated processes

Create, control, and modify programs for various control systems (examples include CNC, PLC/HMI, etc.)

Design, quote, and create equipment/fixtures to aid production processes (structure, process, wiring, sensors)

Evaluate part drawings and sketches to understand product design and specification in developing manufacturing equipment

Provide training for all associates on new equipment operations

Utilize the plan, do, check, act cycle when installing & debugging new equipment
