Responsibilities

Research Customer postings and RFQ’s to retrieve and process open solicitations.
Research both Caliber internal database (Quantum) and USGOV historical information.
Prepare Customer quotations.
Obtain vendor pricing & enter the data into our system.
Calculate freight costs, financing costs, and independently generate pricing for supervisor review.
Follow up on active sales opportunities.
Cultivate & generate relationships with both existing and new vendors.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Be fully cross trained in all Inside Sales activities as well as able to create Sales Orders, Repair Orders, and Purchase Orders as needed.
Develop the skills to independently work on vendor selection.
Develop the skills to independently identify market trends and value-added opportunities for Caliber.
Work requirements and quote customers for EBB (Electronic Bid Boards)
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed.

Required

Minimum of 1 Year Professional Sales Experience in an office environment.
Must be quick and proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
Strong and engaging interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
High attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task and display good time management.
Must be a team player.

Preferred

2 Year Experience in aviation and/or defense industry highly desirable.
Experience researching electronic Government Bid Boards a plus.
Experience in Quantum Software a plus.
