Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with key business partners across the organization.

Understand their needs and challenges, and work collaboratively to develop customized commercial finance solutions that drive growth and profitability.

Analyze and optimize Dealer, Private, Media and SSI pricing models.

Proactively identify and assess new commercial finance opportunities within the market.

Develop compelling business cases to secure leadership buy-in for new initiatives.

Analyze and optimize our dealer incentive packages to maximize their effectiveness in driving sales and achieving growth objectives.

Conduct thorough financial analyses to support commercial finance decisions.

Prepare clear and concise reports to communicate financial performance and trends to stakeholders.

Utilize software to minimize errors, reduce the amount of manual effort required to deliver regular and ad-hoc reports and simplify the month-end process.

Collaborate with the corporate development team to analyze the financial viability of potential acquisitions and divestitures.

Develop financial models and forecasts to support due diligence and valuation processes.

Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of account balances and proper classification of transactions.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties, authorization procedures, and documentation requirements.

Identify potential tax deductions, credits, or deferrals.

Evaluate the tax implications of various business decisions.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, ideally within a financial services or related industry.

Proven track record of success in developing and implementing innovative financial solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.

Demonstrated experience in business partnering and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical tools (e.g., Excel).

Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as international financial reporting standards (IFRS) (Australian parent).

General ledger maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of account balances and proper classification of transactions.

Governance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, including segregation of duties, authorization procedures, and documentation requirements.

Tax: Identify potential tax deductions, credits, or deferrals. Evaluate the tax implications of various business decisions.

Proficiency in financial accounting software including Power BI, Oracle EPM, D365, salesforce and Floqast.
