Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the organization’s AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and reliability.
Implement and enforce governance policies, including resource tagging, cost allocation, and account management best practices.
Design, configure, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
Drive cost optimization efforts by analyzing usage patterns, rightsizing resources, and implementing savings plans or reserved instances.
Configure and maintain secure connectivity solutions, including VPNs, secure tunneling, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Ensure robust security through Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and other security measures.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including automated backup and restoration processes.
Monitor and respond to AWS alerts, implementing proactive measures to maintain system health and prevent disruptions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Manage incident response processes, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reporting, to continually improve system reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure AWS solutions align with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, PCI).
Evaluate and implement new AWS services and features to enhance the infrastructure's capabilities.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure in a mid-to-large-scale production environment.
Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, and AWS Organizations.
Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, cost management, and security best practices in AWS.
Proficiency in designing and managing secure connectivity solutions, including VPNs, secure tunneling, and VDI.
Experience with IAM/SSO implementation and management, including configuring MFA and role-based access controls.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for automating AWS infrastructure.
Familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including automated backup solutions.
Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and incident management in cloud environments.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and optimize AWS resources, including setting up CloudWatch alerts and custom metrics.
Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC2, and PCI.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving in complex environments.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
