Responsibilities
Perform analysis of on-prem and cloud security and monitor security operations.
Review and provide recommendations on security architecture and security policies.
Coordinate and execute security policies, controls, and assess vulnerabilities.
Implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, hackers’ methodologies, and industry trends.
Lead calls for project kick-offs, testing findings, and remediation recommendations.
Conduct security architecture reviews and address security violations with stakeholders.
Develop Corrective Action Plans based on security findings, following industry standards like NIST.
Work with teams to review audit responses, gather evidence, and address security issues.

Required
8+ years of experience with security policies, controls, and vulnerability assessments.
8+ years of experience with data and network security, security systems management, and security violation investigation.
Expertise in AWS Cloud Security and in-depth experience with the AWS platform.
Experience in security operations, including monitoring and analysis of cloud and on-prem systems.
Strong ability to identify security issues, analyze alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
Hands-on experience implementing NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, MARS-E controls, and developing Corrective Action Plans.
Extensive experience with web application firewalls and managing conflicts at the managerial level.
Experience with coordinating audit responses and evidence gathering with IT departments.
Strong knowledge of security software and regulatory requirements.
Preferred
Experience with IT policy development and implementing IT standards and procedures.
Experience with training in cloud-based technologies.
Support experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and applications.
Experience in security governance, risk assessments, and documentation.
Familiarity with ITIL ticketing systems like Remedy and ServiceNow.
Experience with security tools like Archer GRC, Dynatrace, Splunk, Imperva Web Application Firewall, and Qualys.
