Responsibilities

Works with cloud account and engineering teams to review, manage, and track security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and remediation efforts.

Define and implement cloud policy, assess compliance, and lead remediation efforts for non-compliant resources.

Promotes security and privacy by design through effective partnership with security, cloud account, and engineering teams.

Works closely with cloud account teams to fully understand business priorities.

Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.

Lead cost-risk tradeoff discussions with the product teams, helping to decide how important and at what increased cost each security requirement/functionality can be justifiably added in the product.

Required

5 or more years of experience in related field or BS / BA and 3 + years professional experience or MS and 1 year related experience.

Demonstrated Azure and GCP security experience required.

Policy as code (Terraform) experience preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of cloud concepts and network architectures.

Working knowledge of network security concepts including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and WAFs.

Working knowledge of encryption concepts and implementation methods.

Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies.

Strong collaboration skills to effectively develop consensus and understanding among cross-functional teams on key security risks and vulnerabilities.

Develop and implement leading practice security processes and practices across cross-functional teams throughout Technology and the Business.

Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills needed to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or within department problems.

Possesses ability to clearly summarize problems and tailor messaging for intended audiences.

Drives completion of projects or assignments.
