Responsibilities

Implement and manage Azure Entra, Conditional Access policies, and MFA solutions to secure cloud environments and enforce access control.

Monitor cloud security operations to identify and address potential vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, and policy violations.

Configure, manage, and monitor security for cloud networks, Kubernetes clusters, containers, and VMs to enforce best practices.

Evaluate and enhance firewall configurations in cloud environments to ensure optimal security and performance.

Participate in incident response efforts, assessing, containing, and remediating security incidents and reporting findings.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to design secure cloud architectures and integrate security controls throughout the cloud infrastructure.

Manage and configure security tools to monitor, detect, and alert on threats across cloud services.

Develop and implement automation for security operations, including logging, alerting, and compliance auditing.

Document and continuously improve cloud security policies, standards, and procedures, aligning with industry best practices.

Conduct regular risk assessments of cloud environments and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.

Provide guidance and best practices on securing cloud-native applications, including securing containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters.

Required

Experience in Azure Entra, Conditional Access, and MFA setup, configuration, and management.

Strong knowledge of cloud security operations, including network security, Kubernetes, containers, VMs, and firewall management.

Hands-on experience with incident response and security monitoring in cloud environments.

Understanding of cloud security architecture and the implementation of security controls in cloud-native and hybrid environments.

Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud security tasks.

Knowledge of common cloud security frameworks and standards.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to address complex security challenges.

Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security engineering, with hands-on experience in Azure environments.

Preferred

Relevant security certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar.
