Responsibilities
Collaborate with admissions teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design and implement workflows to streamline the admissions process, including application tracking, decision-making, and communications.
Provide end-user support and training for Banner Admissions functionalities.
Analyze and improve admissions processes to enhance efficiency and applicant experience.
Configure and customize Ellucian Banner modules to meet specific institutional needs.
Develop and maintain integrations between Ellucian Banner and other systems, including CRM and financial aid platforms.
Create reports, dashboards, and queries to provide actionable insights for admissions operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Banner Admissions.
Participate in Banner system upgrades, patches, and testing, ensuring minimal disruption to admissions processes.
Work with IT teams to maintain system integrity, security, and performance.
Document processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference and compliance.

Required
5+ years of experience with Ellucian Banner in a technical or functional role, with a focus on Admissions Management.
Deep knowledge of Ellucian Banner’s Admissions module, including setup, maintenance, and optimization.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle database management, and scripting for Banner-related customizations.
Experience with report development tools such as Argos or Cognos.
Strong understanding of higher education admissions processes and best practices.
Preferred
Experience with integration tools like Ethos or API development.
Familiarity with CRM systems used in higher education (e.g., Salesforce, Slate).
Knowledge of other Banner modules, such as Student, Financial Aid, or Accounts Receivable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
