Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate the development of projects with battery material suppliers to ensure technical and quality progress aligns with sourcing objectives.

Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams on sourcing Battery Raw Materials and Cell Materials.

Engage in battery raw materials and cell materials selection, evaluate material sources, and perform due diligence and supplier audits.

Support APQP, PPAP, and site visits related to raw materials quality and industrialization.

Define test plans for materials qualification, analyze and review test results.

Review and evaluate evolving next-generation technologies in materials and processing development.

Build relationships among internal and external organizations for effective cross-functional operations.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering, or related fields.

2+ years of analyses experience in supply chain, manufacturing or quality, or related experience (Engineering, R&D, etc.).

1+ years of Lithium-Ion Battery materials or related processes

Ability to multi-task with cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or Engineering, or related fields.

4+ years of industry experience desired. Direct experience with battery materials or battery raw materials (Lithium, Nickel) a plus.

Strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate technical concepts to all levels of the organization.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
