Responsibilities

Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.

Collaborate closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.

Thrive within our advanced Big Data Tech Stack and be open learning and using new technologies.

Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.

Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.

Resolve technical issues as necessary.

Required

Current and extensive development experience and expertise with similar tools; Spark, Hadoop, Hive, DynamoDB, RedShift, Athena, Kinesis, data lake, Iceberg, Hudi, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, NoSQL, Parquet, Avro, graph databases.

Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage.

Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation languages.

Knowledge and experience of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
