Bilingual Immigration Paralegal

Responsibilities
Prepare and file immigration benefits applications as assigned.
Support removal defense processes, including preparing applications for Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, and Withholding of Removal. Gather necessary documents, prepare affidavits/declarations, and organize all immigration court filings.
Assist the attorney in drafting immigration petitions and applications, ensuring all documentation is complete for submission to the relevant administrative agency.
Review and organize client documentation, analyze case data, and summarize findings for the attorney's review.
Collaborate with the attorney to identify potential case issues and strategize effectively.
Maintain organized and legally compliant client files, monitoring deadlines and tracking the progress of individual cases.
Manage a high volume of immigration matters across various stages.
Draft correspondence to clients and agencies, and communicate with them directly when necessary.
Translate documents and provide direct translations for clients during office meetings as delegated.
Review Requests for Additional Evidence (RFE) and prepare comprehensive responses.
Undertake special projects and other assignments as directed, demonstrating a proactive approach to anticipating attorney and client needs.

Required
Fluency in Spanish is a requirement.
1+ years of experience in USCIS and/or EOIR casework is required.
Outstanding English writing, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
