Responsibilities

Must understand Medi-Cal billing and documentation requirements for mental health residential treatment program

Must have coding experience

Must have worked as a claims biller at a Medi-Cal residential treatment program

Must have understanding of CA Department of Social Services and CA Department of Healthcare Services regulations for residential mental health programs

Must have an expert-level understanding of Medi-Cal claims billing working for a Mental Health residential treatment program

Must be an expert in Medi-Cal requirements for note documentation

Must have an understanding of how to link our electronic record system (Exym) with Medi-Cal claims processing

Must have expert level in auditing the quality of documents and notes to meet Medi-Cal reimbursement criteria
