Responsibilities
Manage the direction of the team, holding staff accountable to meet all required deadlines.
Monitor accounts receivable (AR) on a monthly basis to ensure that timely collection occurs.
Lead by example, demonstrating urgency, initiative, and personal motivation.
Responsible for obtaining insurance verifications and authorizations.
Accountable for the branch(es) accounts receivable balance, inclusive of billing and collections.

Required
Associate degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum five (5) years healthcare billing experience inclusive of managed care.
One (1) year in a leadership role providing training, support, and direction.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry billing.
Detail oriented with strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with software and systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Occasional same-day travel for meetings and conferences.
Preferred
At least 3 years management experience.
At least 5 years Home Health Medicare Episodic Billing experience in DDE.
Previous supervisory experience a plus.
