Responsibilities

Meeting with engineers, draftsmen, and designers to review design drawings and specifications.

Inputting design specifications into the CAD software.

Creating 2D drawings and 3D models according to client specifications.

Working on BIM and CAD projects individually and with a design team.

Reviewing BIM and CAD projects with the client and making adjustments.

Conducting final model rendering and delivering the final product.

Supporting the creation of job reports.

Exercising a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Developing models virtually for specific design purposes.

Ensuring the model aligns with BIM project workflow criteria.

Collaborating and coordinating internally and externally for design and model changes.

Creating discipline-specific BIM Modeling content.

Developing accurate construction drawings and extracting data based on the BIM platform.

Coordinating design documentation with full utilization of BIM software and tools.

Preparing project-specific training documentation.

Maintaining proficiency in using BIM authoring tools for technical support.

Managing and maintaining project content and source additional content as required.

Communicating changes in procedure and standards effectively to project teams.

Coordinating and managing BIM project data sets/workflow.

Setting up linked models and coordinating models across disciplines.

Performing daily model management administration and maintenance.

Occasionally traveling to various project sites.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Required

For Security Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least two years of BIM experience authoring and drafting models using programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Fabrication CADMEP, as well as project management environments (ACC/BIM360, CMiC, or Procore).

CAD Certification.

Previous experience as a BIM specialist and/or CAD technician.

Advanced knowledge of BIM, and Revit/Autocad software.

Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings.

Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes.

Direct experience working with multi-discipline project teams.

Detail-oriented and organized.

Engaged, proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated.

Deadline driven and able to multi-task efficiently.

Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
