Responsibilities
Create architectural designs that respond to local climate conditions, maximizing natural light, ventilation, and thermal comfort.
Assess site conditions and climate data to develop strategies for energy efficiency, water conservation, and resource management.
Work closely with engineers, urban planners, and environmental consultants to integrate sustainable technologies and practices into building projects.
Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
Stay updated on advancements in sustainable design, materials, and construction methods, incorporating best practices into projects.
Communicate design concepts and sustainability strategies to clients, stakeholders, and community members.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and coordination with contractors during the construction phase to ensure adherence to sustainable design principles.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in sustainable architecture, bioclimatic design, or a similar role.
Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp), strong analytical skills, and knowledge of building performance modeling tools.
Any relevant certifications (LEED Accredited Professional or Green Building Certification).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
