Responsibilities
Generate and optimize programs and scripts for analyzing large and complex datasets.
Provide business intelligence through model building, statistical analyses, and creating/enhancing Tableau dashboards.
Perform sequencing, alignment, and interpret results using public-access datasets.
Write custom programs and algorithms to support data analyses and discovery.
Collaborate with biologists, statisticians, and bioinformaticians to design, manage, and interpret data.
Provide training on bioinformatics tools, computational analysis techniques, and software applications.
Onboard and train staff involved in new clinical trials, ensuring rigorous quality control.
Develop bioinformatics tools, pipelines, and computational methods for data integration and analysis.
Participate in the design of computational protocols and evaluate experimental approaches.
Provide statistical support, including novel methods of statistical analysis.
Maintain proper documentation of analyses, share findings at team meetings, and prepare scientific reports.
Present analysis results at conferences, group meetings, and in publications.

Required
Master’s degree in a relevant field (Community and Public Health, Bioinformatics, etc.)
Certified Advanced Programmer
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification
Create/enhance Tableau dashboards based on user feedback
Conduct statistical analyses (descriptive, regression, variable selection)
Work with large datasets
SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerPoint, Outlook
