Responsibilities
Architecture Design: Refine the architectural framework for our Cardano Layer 2 solution, focusing on scalability, security, and interoperability.
Protocol Development: Help with the design and implementation of Midgard - our Layer 2 scaling mechanism tailored to Cardano.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to development teams, ensure adherence to best practices, and oversee the technical roadmap.
Innovation: Explore and research novel approaches to enhance performance, reduce latency, and improve the user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with product manager and developers to align technical deliverables.

Required
Proven experience as a blockchain lead developer, with a focus on Layer 2 solutions.
Deep understanding of Layer 2 scaling technologies, such as rollups (Optimistic/Fuel/ZK), sidechains, and state channels.
Understanding of Cardano's architecture, eUTxO model, and Plutus smart contracts.
Proficiency in blockchain development languages such as Haskell, Rust.
Experience with cryptographic principles and security protocols.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable blockchain systems.
Preferred
Familiarity with Cardano development frameworks, such as Lucid or the Hydra protocol.
Previous experience working on multi-chain interoperability.
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
Strong communication skills and a history of technical mentorship or leadership.
