Responsibilities
Record and monitor credit card transactions.
Verify and reconcile transactions between company’s storage management software and QuickBooks
Prepare and file financial documents.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile company accounts, including monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
Create and manage invoices
Payroll functions (e.g. reviews)
Sort and distribute mail.
Provide administrative support to HR.
Collaborate with the accounting team and/or management to address and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
Assist with processing Tenant Protection Program opt-outs for customers at all facilities.
Support the Leadership Team with administrative needs for the department.
Stay informed on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Required
High school diploma required.
1-2 years of bookkeeping or relevant accounting experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (e.g. GAAP)
Experience with QuickBooks Online.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience planning and executing new processes.
Preferred
Post-secondary education or multi-unit management experience is a PLUS.
