Responsibilities

Collect, review, and analyze financial and supporting documentation for loan applications.

Request necessary documentation from borrowers, title companies, appraisers, and other relevant parties.

Evaluate loan applications for completeness and accuracy, escalating complex cases as needed.

Review files for underwriting submission, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Clear loan conditions and obtain required documentation.

Submit approved loan files to closing.

Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and ensure timely loan closings.

Prepare and send approval and denial letters to borrowers.

Maintain accurate records of loan status, including applications, approvals, denials, and cancellations.

Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers, loan officers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Communicate effectively with loan officers and borrowers to obtain missing documentation.

Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and other vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Required

1+ years of related experience.

Demonstrated experience using Encompass360.

Demonstrated experience working with potential clients/borrowers in a sales environment.

Demonstrated experience in a customer oriented position.

Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures and regulations.

Solid knowledge and understanding of a variety of loan programs including Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA and secondary marketing guidelines to manage complex loan level issues.

Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage-related terms, such as escrow, taxes, closing documents and insurance.
