Responsibilities
Engage in proactive communication with brand partners, ensuring they are fully aware of the value our team brings to the table.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, establishing trust and allyship.
Quickly respond to inquiries and efficiently address pain points by working closely with our internal team to implement solutions.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as communication frequency and quality, brand retention and attrition rates, and customer lifetime value.
Identify and present opportunities to increase revenue with existing brand partners through compelling sales pitches and strategic expansion initiatives.
Collaborate with field leadership to target and penetrate growth areas, thereby increasing our brand footprint.
Track and evaluate expansion efforts through KPIs, including the number of brands pitched and expanded, as well as revenue growth from these expansions.
Cultivate an obsession with brand partner satisfaction by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
Employ creative methods to surprise and delight brand partners, such as personalized gifts and handwritten cards.
Log and track customer complaints and issues, ensuring they are promptly addressed by the team.
Measure success through brand partner satisfaction surveys and feedback.
Maintain meticulous records of communications with brand partners in Salesforce.
Analyze and present data through monthly reports that highlight the value provided by our field teams, integrating visuals and data compellingly.
Conduct in-depth research on each brand partner, including distribution chains and alignment with our expansion targets.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, becoming a subject matter expert in field sales and merchandising.
Serve as the day-to-day face of Basemakers to our brand partners, exemplifying our core values and delivering excellence.
Communicate key brand priorities to directors, regional managers, and account sales managers to ensure cohesive efforts across all field teams.
Address and solve arising issues with creativity and effective problem-solving.
Provide insights and suggestions during department meetings to overcome regional obstacles and enhance brand performance.

Required
Impeccable written communication, with the ability to represent professionally and competently through writing skills.
Proven experience in sales/retail execution in the field.
Driven to sell with a strong bias for speaking up and seeking opportunities to provide value-driven sales.
Demonstrates a high level of adaptability and openness to change, while consistently maintaining a keen attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in all tasks.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical abilities and basic proficiency in systems including Excel, Powerpoint and CRM software, preferably Salesforce or Hubspot.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Creative problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Preferred
Work at Basemakers for at least one year is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred - preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Brokerage experience a plus.
