Responsibilities

Develop and execute arts-focused events and programs in your local community
Connect with fellow alumni and current students interested in the arts
Serve as a liaison between Brandeis and your local arts community
Participate in regular network meetings and planning sessions
Contribute to the growth and development of Brandeis' arts initiatives
Support mentorship opportunities for current students and recent graduates

Required

Brandeis University alumni status
Residence in or near major U.S. metropolitan areas (particularly New York, Los Angeles, or Boston)
Demonstrated passion for the arts (visual arts, performing arts, music, etc.)
Ability to write copy comfortably
Familiarity with google docs (docs, sheets)
Available time commitment to organize and attend events
Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge and familiarity with social media (IG, FB, Twitter) strongly preferred
Familiarity with canva or similar editing software strongly preferred
Professional experience in the arts sector
Previous event planning experience
Active involvement in local arts community
History of engagement with Brandeis alumni activities
