Responsibilities

Lead the development of strategic plans, including Resource Allocation Plans (RAP) and Program Decision Options (PDOs)

Prepare and manage Office of Budget and Management Justifications (OMBJs), Congressional Justifications (CJs), and related attachments and artifacts

Coordinate responses and provide technical assistance to Congressional Appropriation Committees

Develop and respond to tasks from Congressional Appropriators, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), DHS strategy and policy teams, and other key stakeholders

Draft executive-level communications, including talking points and briefings, with minimal edits required

Present findings and recommendations to high-level stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Identify problems and propose alternative and practical solutions using innovative, outside-the-box thinking

Lead data collection and analysis related to budget formulation

Summarize results and produce tailored reports for specific audiences

Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data visualization and presentation

Apply knowledge of PowerBI, PowerApps, and SharePoint to enhance reporting and collaboration

Work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting deadlines
