Responsibilities
Create onboarding materials for implementation vendors that outline project standards, align them with the software development lifecycle, and convey the strategic technical goals of key functional areas.
Develop proof of concepts for integrations between platforms and external applications utilizing the Microsoft Azure stack.
Plan and support the setup of infrastructure for data migration into cloud-based environments, utilizing tools such as SQL Server and Azure Data Factory.
Define and implement branching strategies for GIT and TFVC and establish processes for onboarding technical teams to the project.
Develop and document a build-engineering practice for managing the build and release processes, including automation, proper GIT merge hygiene, branch merging, and release activities.
Support and mentor technical teams with engineering tasks related to tools such as Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud.
Manage CI/CD efforts associated with Azure Build, Packaging, Release, and automated testing.
Ensure that test suites in Azure DevOps are properly configured and integrated with project management tools.
Collaborate with solution architects and product managers to understand technical roadmaps, business processes, and project priorities.
Produce technical documentation including schema definitions, data types, message formats, transport mechanisms, and other interface details.

Required
8+ years of experience in lead engineering roles or comparable positions, with at least 5 years of Agile framework experience.
Proven track record of delivering successful products aligned with key business outcomes.
Experience in end-to-end product delivery using Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
Strong leadership presence and ability to challenge the status quo effectively.
Skilled in translating between technical and non-technical audiences to build consensus.
Expert-level experience in developing and documenting non-functional requirements for customized systems.
Skilled in analyzing business workflows and customer data needs to inform technical deliverables.
Experience building sprint backlogs that align with defined SDLC states and linking Epics, Features, and User Stories to tasks, bugs, and test cases in Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining Azure CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure code in GIT repos.
Familiarity with branching/merging strategies in GIT and TFVC.
Proficiency with tools such as Lucid Charts, Miro, Moqups, or Visio.
Deep experience in SQL Server programming and performance optimization.
Expertise in creating Azure Data Factory solutions and preparing them for implementation.
Experience implementing solutions using Azure Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services, including telemetry solutions and best practices for design and implementation.
Experience designing cloud-hosted infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Containers, VNETs, and related security policies.
Exceptional communication skills to convey project goals and expectations to team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
