Responsibilities

Interact professionally with customers via phone and email to analyze and resolve inquiries or provide comprehensive responses.
Ensure timely resolution of customer requests by coordinating cross-functional efforts, including remittance, billing, pricing, and renewal inquiries.
Reconcile customer accounts concerning billing, payments, and utility-related information, escalating issues as necessary.
Conduct customer surveys to measure interaction quality and Net Promoter Score.
Prepare and explain Excel-based reports related to billing, payment, and account balances for customers, brokers, and internal teams.
Perform financial analyses for refunds, credits, and lost savings requests, summarizing and preparing reports for approval.
Communicate resolution steps and outcomes upon closing escalated issues.
Track and maintain customer interaction data to identify trends and update systems.
Support contract renewal requests and ensure customers understand contract provisions by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of products and services.
Identify problems and trends in call types and report insights to management.
Maintain personal productivity and quality standards to deliver a consistent customer service experience.

Microsoft OfficeBilingual proficiencyCustomer service systems

Required

Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to analyze information, make quick, fact-based decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability to shifting priorities and proficiency in various customer service systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external teams.

Preferred

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
1–2 years of experience in the energy industry, customer service, billing, or collections preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
