Business Analyst - Technical Writer

Responsibilities
Independently gather information from subject matter experts to organize and write technical specifications, process documentation, procedures, release notes, and user manuals to meet organizational standards.
Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable text for a non-technical audience.
Ensure all documentation complies with established standards and best practices, including management of version controls to ensure updates are published in a timely manner.
Manage the onboarding process of new tools and technologies.
Work closely with Business Teams to document requirements for planning and sizing efforts. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Drive working group meetings. Create clear and concise status summaries with action items.
Coordinate with Department stakeholders to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Assist with production implementation, coordinated user validation, Front to Back UAT as needed.

Required
8+ years of experience in a Financial organization as a Technical Writer with Business Analysis experience relating to Trading System
Good understanding of Infrastructure (Windows, Linux, Database, Network, BCP, SAN) technologies as it relates to Application setups
External Systems such Swap Execution Facilities, booking applications Bloomberg, affirmations(ie Markitwire / RTNS)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and explain technical concepts
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong work ethic and dedication/meets target dates
Proficient with MS Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence
Bachelor's degree. Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus
Preferred
Products knowledge– OTC IRS, FX, Fixed Income i.e., Credit Single Names / Indices, Treasuries Bills/Bonds/Notes, cash products
