Responsibilities
Shape and price future proposal efforts
Analyze the business for risk & opportunities
Recommend actions to achieve exceptional execution
Support M&A integration
Growth support for Business Development pipeline and capture management support
Oversee and develop all pricing strategies
Partner with client delivery team and program managers to define each program's business development goals and objectives
Opportunity identification through client and open source databases
Initial Opportunity verification and vetting
Meeting coordination (internal team, partner meetings)
Business Development and Proforma Database management/updating
Drafting Request For Information (RFI), Market Surveys
Document control related to past performance, RFI, Market Surveys, PPQ, Draft and final proposals
Blog post support, Industry day and conference support
Identify potential partners
Assist CGO with quarterly business reviews and monthly investor relations reporting
Work with the portfolio managers to develop revenue projections based on their BD pipelines
Develop and implement pricing strategies and solutions that align with Markon’s business objectives and drive growth
Conduct thorough pricing analysis, including market research and competitive analysis, to inform pricing decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to gather pricing data and insights and lead basis or estimates and build pricing volumes

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, finance, or a related discipline and 4-8 years of experience in business development, proposals, or pricing.
Prior defense contracting industry experience is required.
Strong understanding of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.
Strong analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.
Self-starter and entrepreneurial.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a US security clearance
