Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for IT projects
Conduct business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Develop comprehensive business and functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
Assist in translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications
Support the Project and Portfolio Manager in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines
Create project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource allocation schedules
Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies
Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring alignment of expectations
Contribute to the enhancement of IT processes and methodologies within the organization

Required
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as requirement elicitation and process modeling
Experience with project management methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Click Up, Slack, Microsoft Applications)
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
Preferred
Understanding of the justice or nonprofit sector (preferred but not mandatory)
Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and/or project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus
Experience working in the justice or nonprofit sector is a plus but not required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
Relevant professional certifications in business analysis or project management (e.g., CBAP, PMP) may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in the IT sector
Demonstrated experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
Experience working with project management application and tools to manage and track projects
