Responsibilities
Conduct business analysis for software development projects, including preparing project-related documentation.
Facilitate interactive sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Perform hands-on requirements elicitation and documentation, including traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling.
Develop and maintain an understanding of key business drivers and impacts, assisting clients in identifying and solving business challenges.
Assess production support issues, determine root causes, and document items needed for data or system corrections.
Define functional design and system specifications, preparing, reviewing, and delivering complete documentation packages.
Provide guidance during user acceptance testing, training, and implementation activities.
Support process improvement strategies and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

Required
8+ years of business analysis experience on software development projects, including project documentation preparation.
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal) in English, with expertise in technical writing.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Visio, SnagIt, and prototyping/screen mock-up tools.
Hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, client management, and technical documentation.
Proven ability to analyze production support issues and document necessary corrective actions.
Expertise in facilitating analysis of business/functional requirements and designing technical specifications.
Experience leading user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Familiarity with mainframe environments, SQL, Salesforce, Remedyforce, Core Java/J2EE, and relational databases.
Experience in process improvement strategies and methodologies.
Proven ability to lead change and design more efficient processes.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, particularly with compliance and enforcement-related projects.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multifaceted teams, resolve conflicts, and manage challenging situations.
