Responsibilities

Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and nonfunctional

Develop customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g. Wireframes, Use Cases, business rules, etc.)

Perform and support testing efforts

Assist in the estimation of work

Participate in straightforward system design and configuration activities

Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.

Required

Eliciting, analyzing and documenting requirements and/or functional specifications

Determination of system impact and software configuration

Participating with customers and internal functional areas throughout the development, testing, and implementation processes

Researching and evaluating alternative approaches and recommending efficient and cost-effective solutions

Contributing to activities to improve quality and advance the overall analysis practice throughout the organization

Developing, analyzing, and documenting requirements, including business, functional and nonfunctional

Performing and supporting testing efforts

Assisting in the estimation of work

Staying up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices

Insurance industry experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Performing analytical and critical thinking at a proficient level

Written and oral English communication at a proficient level

Time management including work planning, prioritization, and organization

Ability to handle multiple priorities or tasks

Self-starter and quick learner

Detail-oriented

Active listener

Ability to collaborate and work autonomously

Flexible and adaptable

Preferred

Related insurance certification(s)

Familiarity with writing SQL queries

Familiarity with database design concepts

Familiarity with object oriented concepts

Familiarity with Web Services/APIs

Familiarity with software development life cycle

Knowledge of specific assigned Insurity module/applicable functional area within 6 months

Familiarity with applicable tools necessary to create diagrams

Knowledge of product specific technologies
