Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex costing models, estimating per-unit activity expense utilized in profitability calculations for customers and products across the different lines of business and for organizational allocations.
Create and present expense estimation presentations and forecast outputs to line of business leadership, educating on activity based costing assumptions/methodology and expected expense per unit to drive business strategy
Draft project specifications for data mapping to automate integrations of financial and operational data from multiple data sources into expense estimation platforms
Leverage Jira to submit project specifications for system enhancements and monitor system development progress as it moves through the software engineering lifecycle
Participate in testing of financial modeling platforms, validating system requirements and data integrations meet project specifications, while maintaining high data quality
Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Required

Hands-on experience developing complex financial forecasting models
Leadership/executive presence, enabling effective communication with leadership of varying seniority levels
Prior experience using advanced Excel functions
Basic understanding of Structure Query Language (SQL) and database structure
Ability to effectively document system limitations/bugs and communicate identified issues with software engineering partners
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
