Responsibilities

Works with senior management to define project requirements, timelines, and costs.
Obtains an understanding of the product, its benefits, pricing, positioning, design, and advertising.
Conducts market research, prepares a marketing plan and launch strategy
Evaluates and modifies the plan as needed.
Prepares “target lists” of customers and collaborate with sales to communicate the offering to each customer.
Monitors trends in the industry and may participate in trade shows/organizations
May participate in quality system management reviews.
Promotes the Quality Policy among CI’s employees. Provides technical resources to maintain the quality management system, training and education when appropriate.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 5 years of related experience in the market research of industrial products
Proven experience in market research and analysis
Must be able to manage project timelines, budgets and resources
Must be analytical with the ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities and develop a clear product vision
Must be self-managed with strong attention to detail and focus on task completion
Exceptional problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Preferred

Project management certification
Familiar with industrial production processes
Chemical industry experience is strongly preferred
Ability to learn and understand the uses and applications of Calcium Hydroxide in industry
