Calling and visiting prospective customers in assigned region
Executing new customer appointment process
Growing distribution in assigned territory

Required
College Degree OR equivalent business/industry experience
Strong communication skills to establish relationships with customers, communicate company goals and objectives and meet with underwriting teams on strategy/tactics
Initiative to execute on the best opportunities for growth within the territory
Excellent time management skills
Self-starter with strong dependability/initiative as this is a remote position
Organization skills to put together customer events as needed
Commitment to staying knowledgeable about the insurance climate being demonstrated by enrolling and passing insurance designations and coursework, including actively working toward the completion of CPCU and RPLU
Preferred
1-2 years’ experience in the insurance industry
