Responsibilities
Build relationships with client representatives to understand their unique needs and translate them into sales opportunities
Drive new business opportunities and sales within the cell line development and engineering spaces
Perform lead generation, account mapping, and identify decision-makers to sell effectively in a solution-oriented team selling approach
Collaborate with the C3 scientific team and upper management to identify and implement creative solutions to improve business performance.
Assist and provide feedback with marketing approaches
Travel as required for conferences, trade shows, sponsor meetings, etc.
Other tasks as directed by management Initiation of new services in a regulated cell culture laboratory.

Required
Extensive background in Business Development, Sales, and client relationship management
Extensive understanding and background within mammalian cell line development / engineering
Experience with business development focused in non-traditional biotechnology areas (tobacco, cosmetic, chemical, etc.)
Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Knowledge of the biotech industry and understanding of relevant regulations
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in an appropriate field
8 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
