Business Development Executive - Promotional Products

Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new clients within the promotional products and apparel industry, focusing on large accounts with growth potential.
Responsible for initiating lead generation and setting appointments through direct outreach, including cold calling and industry research.
Develop and implement strategic annual sales plans for both prospective and existing accounts, with clear action steps to secure new business.
Effectively manage the sales pipeline by maintaining and updating the HubSpot CRM, tracking all client interactions and sales activities.
Collaborate with GO2 leadership to expedite the closing of key deals, involving senior team members when necessary.
Create compelling proposals that reflect a deep understanding of client's goals, particularly their Return on Investment (ROI) objectives.
Leverage technology and industry insights to align GO2 solutions with client needs and to stay ahead of market trends.
Maintain strong relationships with current clients by scheduling regular follow-ups, personal visits, and phone calls to ensure ongoing satisfaction and to uncover additional business opportunities.
Continuously look for ways to improve gross margin through cost-saving initiatives, better processes, and additional product offerings.
Proactively address potential issues with existing accounts and notify GO2 leadership of any challenges that could affect the client relationship.

Dynamic and driven sales professional with a strong background in new business development, seeking uncapped earning potential with commissions on both new and repeat sales.
Proven ability to generate new business through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and leveraging industry networks.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in marketing and sales promotion is essential, particularly with a track record of working with sales, marketing, and HR executives.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience using CRM platforms like HubSpot.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly, maintaining client satisfaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages and deliver effective sales presentations.
Preferred
1-3 years of promotional products and apparel sales experience is highly preferred.
