Responsibilities

Locates key decision makers and sets up introduction meetings

Includes cold calling, warm connecting with target companies via email, online networking, and phone

Screens and qualifies prospective clients and opportunities

Articulates client needs, budget, and specific skillsets to Senior Management that are necessary to successfully close the opportunity

Coordinates requirements related to the closing of new business deals in partnership with senior management

Stays up to date on market conditions by attending educational opportunities, reading professional publications and/or participating in industry functions.

Presents potential new products and services and helps create new sales slides, brochures, etc.

Tracking down email and phone numbers to build campaign contacts for sales and marketing

Meet a quarterly sales activity quota

Required

2+ years proven BDM experience or a bachelor’s degree

Sales knowledge/ experience

General knowledge in Supply Chain (Planning, Execution, etc.)

Experience in entering data into CRM system

Executive presence in person and via phone

Strong presentation and writing skills

Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Thrives and excels in a fast-paced environment
