Responsibilities

Market Research: Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic business decisions. Identify verticals and areas where focus should be applied.
Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Work collaboratively with the RSM team to engage, present and develop customers.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall Cloud strategy and success.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to develop sales tools for the sales team.
Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. This includes presenting Vortex at industry events and on behalf of our sales organization to key prospects and clients.
Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, National Account Manager, Business Development Manager or similar role in B2B sales in video surveillance industry.
Must have 3+ years of successful sales experience with a VSaaS company.
Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time.
