Responsibilities
Represents Colliers Project Leaders (CPL), a Division of Colliers Engineering and Design (CED), services to clients to support the growth of business for the Company.
Develop a business plan to target new clients and expand reach within existing clients.
Research new clients via networking, internet, documents, and interviews.
Manage and maintain existing client relationships.
Facilitate client presentations and follow-up activities.
Act as a liaison between clients and partnering companies.
Work as a team with in-house staff concerned with new business.
Lead client outreach and coordinate with subject matter experts.
Develop positive relationships with new clients.
Communicate well with a wide range of occupational levels.
Represent the firm in a professional manner.
Always keep company image and marketing efforts in the forefront.
Develop contact information for new clients and utilize CRM tools.
Attend trade shows, political and social activities as needed.
Coordinate seminars and networking receptions.
Plan networking receptions at industry conferences.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related degree
5+ years of related business development experience
Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation
Demonstrated knowledge of the client relations, design, construction, and FF&E process
Demonstrated ability to manage various tasks, schedules, and deliverables
Enthusiasm to promote and drive implementation of projects
Professionally recognized designations are considered a strong asset
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
