Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sr. Leadership to develop and execute on a results-driven sales strategy
Work with the Sales Team and CEO to identify lead targets based on our IT Service Offerings and IT Products, must be willing to do independent research and learn from our CEO and Client Service Delivery team to truly understand our products and services
Focus heavily on outbound hunting to identify, target, and engage new client opportunities
Utilize various direct sales methods including cold calling, social media engagement, industry blogs, online chat rooms, and face-to-face client meetings
Work with the Client Service Delivery team to gain working knowledge on our IT GRC Compliance and Cyber Security, Risk and AI services and products to improve the sales pitch and craft pragmatic solutions that solve our clients complex compliance and privacy problems
Actively monitor your personal and company’s Linkedin account to monitor the effectiveness of the automatic scripts designed to engage prospects and to know when to jump into the communication exchange with the call to action to schedule a call / meeting
Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to craft targeted marketing campaign lists and review all marketing materials prior to publishing
Monitor the CEO’s Popl contacts and at the direction of the CEO, perform follow up on contacts made to establish relationships and ultimately drive to opportunity conversation
Attend all marketing events, IT and Cyber security conferences, meet with strategic partners, and participate in local professional organizations. Work with the Sales team to ensure all meetings with key prospects are reserved prior to the conference, marketing materials are prepared and ready for hands-outs and all contacts made are followed up with on entered and tracked in the CRM
Organize, manage and maintain the sales forecast pipeline with a clear line-of-sight via dashboard tracking and KPIs for at-a-glance monitoring
Provide bi-monthly sales activity and pipeline forecast to leadership-based prospect stages, be prepared to discuss the nature of the services and/or products in scope, the complexity of the client’s scope and needs, the timing of expedited contract signing and due dates of key deliverables and overall revenue opportunity
Demonstrate working knowledge on all IT GRC, IT privacy and security services and products and AI governance and Risk management to potential clients
Work with the Client Service Delivery and Marketing teams to craft client proposals that perfectly capture the clients’ needs using key words and phrases that represent the voice of the customer and clearly state the client service delivery methodology and approach that is easy for the prospect client to understand.
At the direction of the CEO, present to the client complex written proposals in response to customer requests (RFP, RFQ, RFI) which frequently include cost justification, business case content and technical specifications
Participate in the review of all client proposals focused on delivery pitch to ensure consistency between what was communicated to the client during the sales process is reflected in the customer service delivery methodology and approach
Contribute to problem-solving sessions with the project team, consulting team, and client representatives on a regular basis
Travel regularly to engage with prospects and clients in person
Develop business with new clients and business units within existing accounts and be held accountable to agreed upon quarterly sales targets
This role reports directly to the CEO

Required
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
5-7 years of experience in either direct sales, account management or as a IT former practitioner for an IT advisory firm
Proven track records of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong network of contacts within IT and cyber security sectors and/or the ability to quickly establish trust and build relationship activities with key decision makers
Knowledge of market trends, industry participants, new technologies & business models
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
Critical thinking skills with the ability to understand complex IT compliance and security needs and effectively communicate / present (both written and verbal) the best solution out of multiple 'correct' options
The ability to sell complex IT and cyber security services and products
Knowledge of or demonstrated willingness to learn about Information Security, IT Audit, and IT Compliance frameworks
Understanding of or demonstrated willingness to learn about privacy regulations including GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, and international privacy laws
Knowledge of or demonstrated willingness to learn about IT frameworks and standards, including SOX 404, PCI, HITRUST, FedRAMP, and SOC
Awareness of or demonstrated willingness to learn about AI Governance frameworks, specifically ISO 42001, is a plus
Must demonstrate a hunter’s mentality and work ethic
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, and/or Cyber Security or IT related degree
Willingness and motivation to earn additional certifications and take courses to enrich understanding of our products and services
Preferred
MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable
Experience taking any courses / training in Information Technology / Cybersecurity is a plus
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot, Popl and AI lead generating software
Familiarity with all Microsoft O365 products – including Teams & Sharepoint
Use of AI search engines to expedite tasks
