Responsibilities
Ensure excellence in delivery of full life cycle business development activities, including management of bid and proposal (B&P) resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, account management, packaged service offerings contract award and customer relations
Grow business, working in close collaboration with the Nuclear Services Group (NSG) leadership team to achieve our long-range plan
Perform sales development of assigned clients through direct client contact to capture new and follow-on work and expand ENERCON’s service offerings
Identify market trends and develop new business opportunities, and delivery of responsive, high-quality services for assigned clients
Work with the NSG/BD leadership and staff on strategic pursuits including proposal development and client meetings
Review RFQs and assist in developing the win strategy for proposals
Cross-sell and increase business from accounts under management, working with other company project managers and BD professionals on developing efficient business development strategies for new and existing customers
Participate in strategic growth initiatives to expand ENERCON’s client and delivery footprint
Develop and implement competitive strategies for acquiring targeted clients and expanding the relationship with existing clients
Develop detailed account development plans for core and target clients as well as proposal capture strategies
Understand and respond to overall market trends, challenges, and client concerns
Lead, coordinate, and build teamwork among their team of Client Services Managers

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related industry
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the nuclear industry
10+ years of business development and client/project management experience
Proven experience in effective client relationship and capture management and proposal development
5+ years of supervisory experience
Business travel as required ~25% of the time or more
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
Preferred
Existing relationships and strong contacts in the nuclear industry are a plus
Strong knowledge and proficiency in using CRM platforms (SalesForce CRM) for Sales and Business Development purposes
Experience working in Engineering and Consulting Services Industry
